this...is...the...remix

i'm not sure how many of you know about the singer/rapper/actor from degrassi, drake...but he's got a couple great songs under his belt. however, if you do a remix with my girl lykke li...for one of her all time hottest songs, little bit...well, what can i say? you get lots of respect from me. anyone who's paid attention to my blog, will know the original, but of you know i HAD to give you the remix. whichever one you like better, they're both great in my book. their voices blend together terrifically.

although this is primarily a fashion blog, you know i like to point out people in the music that have caught my attention. this dude, charles hamilton...oh man, i lovesssss him! this new song "brooklyn girls" grabbed me. i can always use a real laid-back song to ease me out of my boom-boom, bang-bang down south beats.
he's an "uptown boy with soho flavor", and i think he's definitely worth checking out. i may not have anything to say about him fashion-wise...although, sonic is cute, and he's not afraid of the color pink, apparently. a man wearing pink with confidence....nothing sexier, in my opinion.

so i just discovered this girl a few weeks ago and i admire her talent, her sound and yes, her fashion sense. she's an indie singer from Sweden who is quickly gaining momentum here in the states. i just found out that she's performing at the Black Cat tonight. of course...at the moment i'm feeling under the weather and i have no one to go with...but YES, i'm still debating if i should go. anyway, i wanted to share her new video with you b/c i love the juxtaposition of her high fashion and dirty surroundings.

i'm not sure if i'm thrilled about this song yet, but i simply love the suit in the beginning....and who can be mad at the silver thigh-high boots (in the dance sequence)? not really sure what's going on with the metal armor outfit, but eh, makes for an interesting vid.
