i'm not sure how many of you know about the singer/rapper/actor from degrassi, drake...but he's got a couple great songs under his belt. however, if you do a remix with my girl lykke li...for one of her all time hottest songs, little bit...well, what can i say? you get lots of respect from me. anyone who's paid attention to my blog, will know the original, but of you know i HAD to give you the remix. whichever one you like better, they're both great in my book. their voices blend together terrifically.

although this is primarily a fashion blog, you know i like to point out people in the music that have caught my attention. this dude, charles hamilton...oh man, i lovesssss him! this new song "brooklyn girls" grabbed me. i can always use a real laid-back song to ease me out of my boom-boom, bang-bang down south beats.
he's an "uptown boy with soho flavor", and i think he's definitely worth checking out. i may not have anything to say about him fashion-wise...although, sonic is cute, and he's not afraid of the color pink, apparently. a man wearing pink with confidence....nothing sexier, in my opinion.

this lady is one of my favorite hollywood vixens. she had the body of a goddess, she had attitude, wit, class and boy did she EVER wear her clothes....they never, ever, ever wore her. she turned what could be conceived as sleezy into sexy and i absolutely adore her for it. one of my favorite movies she played in: "i'm no angel"

yes, i'm taking it back in the day. i couldn't help myself. after watching Gone with the Wind last night, i found a renewed interest in the "true" gentleman and their beautiful southern belles - something that always happens when i watch movies about the old south. and who better than to set your gaze on but the deliciously dapper rhett butler? cue the swoon, ladies. and "gentlemen"...take note of a real man: one who could carry a hankerchief in his pocket, who bowed to ladies that walked by, chose his words carefully and best of all....was always IMPECCABLY MAINTAINED.

sooooo, leggings should have been over and done with already. i mean, how many other colors and patterns can you come up with before it starts to get old, especially when EVERY girl is wearing them? but along comes Lindsay with her new line "6126", named, ever so cutely, after Marilyn Monroe's birthday. and you know what? i was surprised. it actually did bring something new to the table. quilted knee pads, gold zippers and washes, rips and runs...i must say, not bad Linds.
so far all she has out are leggings, which she debuted on Oct. 13th at Henri Bendel. but she's already announced that she will be extending the line, although, where she stops next, nobody knows.

Go Miss J! or is it just Jay? or both?
Jay Manual and J. Alexander (aka Miss J) are going to have their own makeover extravaganza. they're starting their own spin-off pilot, entitled Operation Fabulous. Their mission: turn everyone into "top models". now, I know they can be helpful on the ANTM, but as far as having the ability to tell people how they should be dressing, wearing their hair and makeup, etc...do they have it??? i mean look at half the shit Miss J wears:

in all seriousness, do you really want s/him telling you what to put on? however, i'm always of fan of the cynicsm, sarcasm and plain asshole comments that spew out of J's mouth...so let's just set the record straight. i will be watching it.
